National Day of Prayer

The other day, I got an email reminding me that next Thursday (May 7th) is the National Day of Prayer. In light of some recent conversations, I started thinking about how we can use this as an opening to do something big. We decided to attempt a community prayer time in Memorial Park. Plans are underway to get the word out to as many people as possible. The idea is that people who work downtown can use their lunch hour to join us for casual prayer in the park. Nothing fancy, just good old fashioned prayer! We will provide a list of ideas to cover in prayer and people can pray however they feel the most comfortable (alone, in groups, etc). Join us May 7th noon-1pm, and in the mean time, help us get the word out!
