On Saturday we volunteered to hand out water to the runners and walkers for this event. This was a part of the Crim Festival of Races (newly added this year). We had a diverse group of volunteers from elementary age to senior citizen. It was a fun time and very easy to do. The Crim people have told us that they will be calling us soon with more service opportunities.
Afterward, we headed back downtown to begin work on the I69 Downtown Entrance Gateway blocks that we adopted. We didn't quite finish, but will be back out this Saturday if anyone wants to help weed, and deadhead. It was actually pretty fun!
