With the exception of one day, I've been off work since Christmas day. It's been nice. I thought I would get a lot done around the house and be further along on the demo of our family room, but I am not. Instead, we got a lot of cleaning and organizing done, and watched a lot of TV and movies. Lots of sleeping in too... Hannah has been pretty gracious letting us sleep in all week. Andy is back from England, and Dave comes back tomorrow after spending the holidays with his family. So, its been very nice having the house to ourselves, getting things done that created large messes, and lounging around. It was a perfect way to end a crazy year (especially ending with kettles).

Now we are at the beginning of a new year. I can't really say what this year holds. Last year was all about forging relationships. The previous year was all about finding our place in the neighborhood.

I look forward to what we do with the TLW grant we have, new friendships/partnerships/relationships formed, furthering our education and learning, and growing in many ways.
