Things are getting busy again here. Kettles start Friday and so we've been busy creating schedules, getting things ready. This year, we have a lot more staff and so everyone is helping out to make the season go smooth. It's nice for me, because the added help means I am not working six days a week up until Christmas. I really want to be able to work on our house and enjoy the holidays with my family.

We've started to talk to people interested in Ignite, and who may be a part of the 2011-2012 session. I'm excited! Not only will this impact the neighborhood, but it will also allow for us to expand what we do. Our current work load will be lessened by the extra hands, and allow for us to move into new areas of ministry. We stress that creativity is celebrated in Ignite and so hopefully we will see some new ministries start up as people with unique giftings and talents join the team. Come January, we should be working through grants and putting in applications for funding to aquire, rehab, and complete the future Ignite House. So this team (if all goes well) will be the first team in the house.
