Last Saturday we had our first Salvo Meeting..or actually we didn't. No one showed up except for the people we had pulled into to give testimonies, play in the band, etc.. I'm not discouraged though. When Rachel and I were in VLI we had quarterly service projects, where we had to create a project, and then after we were finished with the project we had to evaluate its strengths, weaknesses, successes, and failures. No matter if our project went well or flopped, we had to look at it from a objective view which has helped us not to be discouraged, but to pick move forward and take what we learned, grow, adapt, change, and try again. I did have a good time playing music with Gregg and Dan. Wiseguys was good too. I'm anxious to focus in and pray about this meeting and see what we can do differently or what God would have us do.

It's a scary and exciting thing to plant new ministries, engage and gather people, and immerse yourself fully in this kind of work. It is so rewarding though.
